Supporting a range of professional development activities:
The school will offer a wide range of approaches to professional development. These include:
- In-school professional development using the expertise available within the school and collaborative activities like peer teaching, planning and assessment, work within a
- defined team, classroom observation, existing expertise, peer assessment and evaluation, collaborative enquiry and problem-solving, modelling, coaching and mentoring and engaging in a learning conversation and last but not the least reflection.
- job enrichment/enlargement (e.g. a higher level of responsibility, working closely with in someone else, content sharing, job rotation, shadowing, mentoring, leading meetings),
- Producing documentation or resources following the curriculum, teaching materials, assessment packs, multimedia presentations, handouts and reports.
